The college has some societies and association for the students.There shall be students'union in the college.
To organise discussions on general,cultural,academic,national, problems.
To invite eminent persons to address the union.
To organise debate,discussions and symposiums.
There shall be a dramatic society in the college.The name of the society of the college is called "S.B.R. Govt.(Auto) Women's college dramatic society".
All the students of this college shall be members of the society.
The principal of the college shall be the Ex-officio president.
To promote the interest in games and sports among the students.
Students are required to attend games, unless specially exampted by the principal,N.C.C. cadets may be exampted from games.
To organise meetings and symposium etc in litereture and culture.
To invite eminent scholars to address the members of the society.
To organise different competition on literature and culture from time to time.
Social Service Guild
The object of the S.S.G. is to grant stipends to the poor, needy and deserving students.
Each student of the college shall contribute an amount of Rs. 2.00 towards the guild fund.
In all matters relating to the guiid the principal's decision shall be final.
There shall be an association called the science society of S.B.R.govt.(auto) women's college,berhampur.
All science students shall be its members and pay Rs. 5/- per annum as membership fees.
The decision of the principal shall be final and binding in the matters relating to science society.
The aim of the society shall be to organise debates and symposia from time to time.
At the beginning of each session election shall be held to different office along with the college union as fixed by the government.
The society also selects candidates to participate in the inter-college and inter univercity competetions.
Day Scholar's Association
There shall be an executive body of the D.S.A. consisting of: president-principal.
Officers in charge of D.S.A shall be nominated by the principal from among the members of teaching staff of the college.
The funds of the association shall be administered by the principal through the officers in charge of the D.S.A.
Student's Aid Fund
The objective of this fund is to render financial assistance to deserving students to meet their tution or examination fees or to purchase books.
limited assistance may be given to students to meet their hostel mess,clothing or medical expenses if their needs are considered geniune.
No scholarship,loans,prices etc. will be given fron this fund
Student's Common Room Society
There shall be a students' common room society in the college. the name of the society of the college is called S.B.R. govt. women's college students' common room society.
All the students of this college shall be the members of the society.
To draw up list of newspapers, journals, magazines and indoor games to be used in the common room.

The function of the dramatic society is to stage drama and arrange variety of entertainment programmes from time to time and conduct musical performances.

S.S.G. will have a secretary and Asst. secretary to be elected from among the students of +2 classes.
They will be co-opted by the principal as members of the committee formed to recommend and allot financial assistance to deserving students of +2 classes from the S.S.G.fund.
