About the Library
The Library's prime purpose is to provide a favourable environment, resources, and services to support teaching, learning, and research for the students and staff of the college. The Library Regulations are approved by the College Committee and revised periodically.

Library Rules
Any person using the library is assumed to follow the Library Regulations:
- The library contains textbooks, reference books, and journals.
- No book may be taken out until recorded in the loan register.
- All books must be returned before long vacations or notified dates.
- No markings or damage to library books.
- Books may be reissued after verification by the librarian.
- Lost/damaged books must be replaced by the borrower.
Rules for Lending Books
- Fine of ₹2 per book per day for late return.
- Magazines cannot be taken home.
- Lost library card replacement fee: ₹10.
- Books are usually not issued during summer vacation.
- Library cards must be returned before university exams.
Seminar Library
The following departments maintain Seminar Libraries:
English, Economics, History, Home Science, Political Science, Psychology, Odia, Botany, Zoology, Sanskrit, Chemistry, Physics
Seminar libraries issue rare and specific books to Honours students. Books remain under the charge of a departmental teacher. Students may keep books for 15 days. One Honours student is nominated as Seminar Secretary.
