ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Laid out in the year 1989, Dept of Zoology is the inborn constituent of S.B.R. Govt. Women’s College, Berhampur and has been continually encouraging a lively scholarly climate devoted to bestow degree honours courses to girl students. With a solid groundwork based on showing techniques, the department is dedicated to teaching by experienced faculty members.
In the 2023-24 session, the Govt. further expanded its academic horizon by introducing a postgraduate program making a significant milestone in its evolution.
Every possible care is taken to pay individual attention to the students in their laboratory work and tutorial sessions. Seminars, projects and problem sessions are part of the student’s curriculum to develop innovative and analytical approaches to zoology learning.
