DEPARTMENT PROFILE
- Laid out in the year 1989, Dept of Zoology is the inborn constituent of S.B.R. Govt. Women’s College, Berhampur and has been continually encouraging a lively scholarly climate devoted to bestow degree honours courses to girl students.
- With a solid groundwork based on showing techniques, the department is dedicated to teaching by experienced faculty members.
- In the 2023-24 session, the Govt. further expanded its academic horizon by introducing a postgraduate program making a significant milestone in its evolution.
- Every possible care is taken to pay individual attention to the students in their laboratory work and tutorial sessions.
- Seminars, projects and problem sessions are part of the student’s curriculum to develop innovative and analytical approaches to zoology learning.
