Department Profile
- Established in the year 1992, Dept of Physics is the inherent constituent of S.B.R. Govt. Women’s College, Berhampur and has been constantly fostering a vibrant academic environment dedicated to imparting degree honors courses to girl students. With a strong foundation built on teaching methods, the department is devoted to teaching by experienced faculty members.
- In the 2023-24 session, the Govt. further expanded its academic horizon by introducing a postgraduate program, marking a significant milestone in its evolution.
- Every possible care is taken to pay individual attention to the students in their laboratory work and tutorial sessions. Seminars, projects, and problem sessions are part of the students’ curriculum to develop innovative and analytical approaches to physics learning, including soft skill courses like C, C++, and SCILAB.
